A problem of saving Hip Hop Record Producer files in MP3 format has come to our attention. The problem is due to a lack of MP3 encoder, which is not installed by default when loading Record Producer.
There are two alternative encoders - LAME and Blade, both of which can be downloaded by clicking on the links below. In order for the encoders to work correctly, follow these step-by-step instructions:
STEP 1: Click on one of the links below.
STEP 2: When the window pops up that asks you where you would like to save the file, make sure you save it in the same directory you have saved Hip Hop Record Producer to.
By default it is: C:/ Program File / PCDJ Producer
STEP 3: Once the encoder is installed open Record Producer.
STEP 4: Select the encoder you installed from the drop down box in the program's "config." options.
STEP 5: When you have selected the MP3 codec in the "config" options, drop down the rate selection and set it to the highest option. Then do it again, and you will find that higher numbers appear.
STEP 6: Keep repeating STEP 5 and the numbers will gradually climb to the highest level available.
STEP 7: Save your options and you will be able to export to MP3 in the same manners as WAV.
Thank you for your patience regarding this matter.
